[B1aze - 2013-04-01 02:05:37] We now have enough information to ban Razor[X] for cheating. Razor[X] used wallhack in official games and uncountable number of pracs during last few years. He is banned from Thunderdome 3 and his games will be voided soon.

simply record his pov in suspicious situations with wallhack and without as sometimes it is not that clear if you look at it without actual wallhack.

Hey sorry if I'm a little late I got to better check around what is this all about but for now I just wonder how you can catch a cheater.

So I guess (by now) that you would need a ".dem" file (or a format for QW which is different) and then use that cheat system (bot whatever) and see if they match.

Cheating is such lame but I always felt impossible to be 100% sure and I'd like to know how to do so.

Congrats to QuakePhil and other developpers of this tournament etc. it is great to see the QuakeWorld community so active.

I'm from QuakeOne.com (to name just that one) and I do some promotion about the NQ invitation... you guys should see the result pretty soon I guess.

To ask to be sure the QuakePhil NQDM 1v1 KOTH is still open OR to reopen it even if on the late since we promote the tournament around the NQ community.

I also know personnaly the developpers of KOTH Mod and they would most probably glad to help/participate/signup for the tourney.

I used WH alot in Counter-Strike and I see no WH on the videos you posted here
In QW you can predict the position and you can also locate with the sounds.
I know VVD in person we studied the same university and lived in the same dorms for years
I can say that I would expect that he will do something like this - he is very huffish, like a baby.

NQ (NetQuake) has a sever-side feature that disables sending updates about players who are not visible, which saves bandwidth (like that even matters nowadays) and makes "wallhacking" impossible. Not sure if this is workable in QW, because you might need the ability to know where all players are on the map at all times due to some QW feature (like teammate locations).
